We believe eating healthy or keeping up with a food plan is much more complex than just counting calories or following a program with no understanding of what or why you are eating certain foods. A calorie is not a calorie, and every nutrient has a different function and different effects in the body. For that reason, we use food exchanges instead, and we teach you how to incorporate all the nutrients in order to teach your body to work more efficiently, burn more calories, and keep you more satisfied by stabilizing your hunger hormones.
