Meet Ronee Saad

Certified Registered Dietitian

Hi everyone! My name is Ronee Saad, and I have been a certified Registered Dietitian since 2018. My passion for nutrition began while I was completing my Bachelor of Sciences in Nutrition, with a concentration in dietetics at Cornell University.

I remember taking my Anatomy and Physiology class and becoming fascinated by all the intricacies of the major human body systems. This led me to explore how nutrition intertwined with these processes. I took additional classes, joined the 2 nutrition clubs at school, and developed a network of people who are as passionate about nutrition as I was. I was able to strengthen my understanding of how nutrition impacts different diseases and changes throughout our lifecycle. I developed an appetite to learn more, and luckily, I was able to delve deeper into medical nutrition therapy.

I went on to complete 1200 hours of supervised practice at a dietetic internship with Northwell Health.

I participated in many different fields of nutrition, including corporate wellness, clinical nutrition, and nutrition in community settings, which allowed me to further explore my passion. My experiences enhanced my love for nutrition and dietetics, and I was so excited to fulfill my newfound dream of becoming a dietitian.

After getting certified in 2018, I dedicated my time to working at Sandy Zohni’s practice, seeing patients for weight loss and bariatric surgery evaluations. I enjoyed getting to know patients personally, working with pediatric clients who loved to learn new nutrition-related ideas, and redefining dieting with adult clients.

I later started as a clinical dietitian at Mount Sinai Hospital, where I continue to work today, primarily focusing on pediatric oncology patients, neonatal nutrition and adults who undergo ear/nose/throat surgery
I strongly believe that every food fit into our daily lives, and that we can find solace in our relationships with food. I am excited to continue working on Sandy’s team, and apply evidenced-based nutrition into your journey of living a healthier lifestyle.
