Hi! My name is Michelle Saad, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. My love for food, nutrition, and health began during my adolescent years and continues to grow with every person I encounter in need of just a little help or guidance in changing their lifestyle.
Growing up as an overweight child, I began dieting at a young age. What I once thought of as a curse was truly a blessing in disguise. My struggle with my weight, and learning how to eat healthier foods, has deepened my passion for nutrition. It has brought me to where I am today. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a master’s degree in Health and Nutrition Sciences. Throughout my adolescence, I felt uncomfortable with my weight and slowly began making healthier changes on my own. During this time, I taught myself how to incorporate healthier foods into my diet, while also enjoying my favorite foods in moderation. While educating myself, I also found my passion for exercise, in helping us feel strong and confident, physically, but more importantly mentally. But, do not be fooled.
This experience took me many years of trial and error and I do not regret one day of it. Approaching college, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and was eager to learn all about the body and its fascinating mechanisms.
My passion for nutrition is continuously growing with every day I get to help you do, what I love.I have been working at Sandy Zohni Dietetics for the past six years and can say that we are here to help and guide you to a healthier, happier you!
Working with children and teens hits close to my heart. I understand their struggles and honestly believe in gentle nutrition; eating foods that make you feel good and nourish your body, rather than eating foods for the soul purpose of “following a diet”. I also believe in making small changes over a period, which brings about a huge overall transformation. In my experiences of working with all age groups and different stagesin life, I have learned that they all benefit from a gentle nutrition approach.
